The Polarised version of the Handy Little Relay 24 volt Module supersedes the older module, and is a simple-to-fit unit for use wherever dry contact, voltage free switching is required or where there is a need for higher than usual currents and voltages to be switched. Its compact size makes it neat to fit inside the majority of control panels. The polarised function enables it to be used in Fire Alarm and similar systems where the polarity of the output to bells, sounders etc. is reversed when in ‘alarm’.
The 24 volt Relay is mounted on a printed circuit board that has screwed terminals for easy interconnections, complete with LED indication. Other Handy Little Relays available are a 12 volt coil, a ‘junior’ 1inch2 12 volt & transistorised, a toggled latch facility and as 8-32 volts AC/DC Relay.
The printed circuit tracks are designed to carry the rated voltage and current of the relay contacts.
NOTE: Polarity MUST be correct for the unit to activate.
